Kinda infuriating the #twitter downloadable archive doesn't contain basic things like the name of the user that you are having direct message conversations with, just a undecipherable user id.
Oh, and every single link that you've ever posted in a tweet has been replaced with the t.co short link. Apparently no one designed the twitter archives to account for the possibility that twitter would ever disappear as a company.
@mikemccaffrey I gave up on getting an archive, it doesn’t seem to complete correctly with private accounts, and I’m right on the edge of deleting the account anyway. For sure before this new TOS nonsense starts at the end of the month. I’m letting that part of my life go, I guess, never to be seen again. Sad, but feeling like it is beyond the time. I don’t go there anymore, I haven’t posted since November, it’s never going to be better again.
