I don't see this mentioned as a symptom associated with , but since it's onset I've been plagued with powerful fits of hiccups that come on instantly and usually only last about a minute.

They seem to be triggered by changing position from sitting to standing. They seem to be more likely if I've had anything to drink while seated.

Any other with this, or just me?

people have all kinds of fantasies about what non-profit boards actually do. the answer is “it depends” but for most of them is not “get to say what the staff does”

@lzg Or they have been recruited to the board by the executive director, who they will then leave completely unchecked until the organization reaches the point that it is literally going bankrupt through mismanagement and then they will finally take action after it is far too late.

At least that has been my experience.

The most unrealistic thing about Reacher is when he goes into a thrift store in a small town where everyone gawks at his size because they’ve never seen anyone quite like him… and he instantly finds clothes that fit.

If this was the internet I’d say this is evidence of a time loop and they were actually his old clothes from the previous time around.

Contemplating the trope of trans serial killers in fiction, I look up "list of serial killers in the United States" on Wikipedia. Over 650 identified serial killers are listed. Two are trans. So, less than 0.3 percent of known serial killers in the US are trans. Our best estimates put trans people betwen 0.5 to 1.5 percent of the total US population. Trans people are less likely to be serial killers than cis people.

Well today my tummy reacted to the reintroduction of legumes. I am glad I followed the diet and did not add other things because now I know. But to be fair I only experienced a slight improvement on the diet.
Next will be non gluten grains like corn, oats, quinoa. But one more day of whole foods before doing that.

@Adventurer Someone was saying recently that they thought that they were gluten intolerant, but it turned out that they were sensitive to FODMAPs.
