The most convincing thing to me is all of the prominent military and government officials that are adamant that there’s a non-human component to the phenomenon. The claims sound farfetched, but they’ve been made for 70+ years by various military ranks and roles in our government. They also help solidify the countless personal sightings and encounters across the world and throughout history.

Gallaudet told Liberation Times:
“I do know from the people I trust, who have had access to some of these programs, that there are different types of non-human intelligence visiting us whose intentions we do not know.”

Yawweee877h444,

I agree, but having one of these respected military officials, Grusch, go under oath in front of congress publicly is a huge deal no matter what. Grusch’s claims are as farfetched as they come, and he was under oath, and claims to be able to provide evidence/details/people/places in a classified setting. The fact that most people don’t care, and even some media outlets are still calling this conspiracy theory, seems crazy to me.

Where are the 40 people Grusch apparently got all this info from? Why aren’t we talking about them and all the info he can’t provide? We know, it’s classified.

Not to mention the Schumer amendment being gutted. Why remove the imminent domain portion which very specifically stated non-human technology? Why take that out if it doesn’t exist?

If it’s all complete BS, the whole situation is still interesting. And this is a lot of energy and weirdness for a cover story to hide what else?

I’m always amazed at public reaction to the topic. I think a lot of people are open to the idea or already embrace it, but the skeptics are the most vocal. YouGov did a poll in March that showed around 60% of Americans believe the government is concealing info on UFOs with around 32% believing UFOs may be alien. However, the news and social media may not always reflect it. It doesn’t take much to drown out the news coming out of Congress. A few hit piece articles and over zealous skeptics online create an environment where casual believers don’t feel comfortable opening up.

Luckily, it does sound like Congress is still making progress in the background with talks of another hearing and attempting to fill the gaps left in what passed of the Schumer amendment. The support is there with plenty in the government and ample in the public. Disclosure will continue to be a frustrating process, but strides are being made.
