I don’t understand why anyone downvotes an “unpopular opinion” posted in the “Unpopular Opinion” community. The post is clearly on topic. It’s not offensive. Most will disagree with it. All good here.
What is the meaning of the downvote in that case? That it should be more popular?
No memes at all are funny? I find that really hard to believe to be honest, and it sort of suggests that you have a flawed understanding of what a meme is outside of the 20's bastardization of it that means "funny picture with text." It also sounds like something an adolescent would say to distinguish themselves.
It’s a good unpopular opinion. What is funny is subjective. I agree with a couple other commenters though, if you find NOTHING funny, brings you amusement, or helps you feel bits of joy, it’s time to find a professional to help you out.
If you’re just a generally kinda grumpy person who’s not a risk to yourself and others and you DO find some things funny and good and they’re just not amusing to the general population that’s no problem and carry on!
Memes are just jokes and jokes make people laugh. Based on your post history and account name it seems like you’re a pretty unhappy person. It doesn’t surprise me you don’t enjoy memes. I don’t mean this in a rude or dismissive way but you should talk to a therapist.
You’re being far too nice. I usually like to live and let live, but pretty much everything to come out of OP’s mouth is rubbish.
OP insists that everybody else is a fucking idiot, and “happy is stupid and cringe”. If everybody and everything else is the problem, then you are definitely the problem.
I wasn’t laughing at these even when I was “happy” and there are things I’m laughing which also makes people around me laugh… %99 of memes are low quality and I can’t believe that people are REALLY laughing at these…
