It looks like I’ll be eating coffee today 😔

Not a lick of vegan food at JFK Terminal 5 (except for oatmeal and I’m not paying for oatmeal)

Quite a difference from Terminal 1 in SFO, where I had a nice vegan breakfast and found a great vegan wrap for the plane ride

I like NYC, but I’ll be glad to get back to West Coast culture. It’s VERY old fashioned here (and I would guess many people like it that way 🤷🏼‍♀️)

The West Coast is better for providing vegan options, and if you’re traveling out of JFK Terminal 5, don’t expect to get any vegan food 🤷🏼

The point is that if you are part of a small minority, your needs will rarely be catered to

This is true for all small minorities, absent legislation or very strong social pressure
