Notes from Kbin's Matrix Logs - i

nb VERY ROUGH, Non Canonical:

 1a. 11/6/2023, 06:04:09 - dannekrose: I created a remote thread (as seen from my server) to kbinmeta@kbin.social and while my instance seems to be getting the upvotes and boosts and comments sent to it, I don't see them in my instance's UI.  I also can't enter any threads' urls into my instance's search bar and find results.  Every url is a 500 Server error for kbin.social.  I suspect it has to do with the DDos protections in place so if so, is there a way I can try to allow-list traffic to and from my instance without going through cloud-flare?  If not, I understand.

 1b. 11/6/2023, 06:52:26 - dannekrose: If anyone has an account on kbin.social, could you add a comment on my recent FAQ thread saying that I'm trying to respond and edit the article, but due to issues with federation with kbin.social I can't send any updates and to check the thread "on the original server" for updates and comments?
