@MapAmore@osm I like OpenStreetBrower, its a useful tool to see what mapping has been done in an area, but also the best site I've found for 'restaurants near here', 'which swimming pool is closest to me' or 'where are the densest charity shop areas' type queries.
Often, I share OSM POIs using OpenStreetBrowser, to highlight to similar features that are available in an area, without having to mention Overpass Turbo, or end-up confusing them more by sending them to OSM. :mastogrin:
If I know that the user expects a need for routing, I might use #QwantMaps instead.
I suppose I (often) take the extra effort to avoid sending users to proprietary maps. 😆
My favorite secret option is that if one clicks on the geometry link, it actually triggers a #geourl intent, and will ask the user to select a compatible mapping app (e.g. Gmaps) already installed their device, and not necessarily #OpenStreetMap data consumers.
@MapAmore@osm Oh my god, no I did not! I just tried it out and immediately discovered a great looking indian restaurant in my area! The stuff that #Google doesn't show you...
