Day 44 of #100DaysofCosmoPic was design focused. I created pictures of the different planets in our solar system to go hand in hand with the list I display in the trivia section! Thanks this video from Karin Prater: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=77ztC8Z-KuQ I got the inspiration for the list 🙌🏻 Always love to design new views much more than the tech behind it 😅 How do you like it so far?
Day 43 if #100DaysofCosmoPic starts with getting rejected again for the same reason as before, no further explanation… So I thought okay now I will add a feature which I didn’t intent to build but maybe it will help getting accepted. I have added a trivia tab about the planets of the solar system. I plan to expand it to a quiz you can do to test your space knowledge. Hope this will help to eventually get accepted when it’s finished 🤞
And to top it off, I’m now trying to submit again. I was rejected two times in #100DaysofCosmoPic for “Minimum functionality”, let’s see if adding an interactive widget let’s me get through 🤞
After a couple of days being sick it feels great to be back at #100DaysofCosmoPic again with Day 35! I can now render images from my favorites to the Widget 😍 Was hard to figure out what didn’t work with my first try but it was AsyncImage! You can not use that in a widget as far as I found out. So I had to preload and downsample the image, thanks a lot to @MuseumShuffle for the hint! 🙌🏻
Today was tough again 😭 Day 32 of #100DaysofCosmoPic was all about recovering from yesterday’s loss. I submitted Cosmo Pic for App Store review to finally release it and sadly I was rejected because of Guideline 4.2.2 - Design - Minimum Functionality. Thats obviously a response you don’t anticipate when you work on your app for months. I response to that I added zoomable photos to the app as a new feature and now I will re-submit 🤞
I failed on Day 27 of #100DaysofCosmoPic At least that’s the primary feeling in my mind right now. I tried to implement an in-app purchase with StoreKit and I couldn’t make it. And in my mind it’s not important, that it was the first time I tried this and that I learned a lot about the whole StoreKit system works. In my mind there is only this failure of not being able to implement it… yet. I’ll try again tomorrow. Writing this helps.
Day 24 of #100DaysofCosmoPic was so exciting! 😍 Today it was all about design! 🎨 Got so many inspiration from my Apple design lab yesterday. I can only encourage everyone to use this opportunities, they are free and you get a lot out of it! Redesigned the APODView to be the today view now and the process of adding a photo to favorites. Let me know what you think about it! Feedback is very important for me :)
