Das Spiel am Open Table mit mehreren SL war für mich komplett neu. Ich habe das Gefühl, einen ganz neuen Aspekt des Hobbies ❤️für mich erschlossen zu haben.
Pnp ist für mich in erster Linie eine soziale Aktivität. Über das Format open table konnte in den letzten Monaten viele total sympathischer Leute kennenlernen. Hammer-Privileg! 1/n
@HeyeBodo@dnddeutsch@weirdadmiral ich habe bei meinem damaligen DnD Restart mit #5e tatsächlich, nachdem sich die Tyranny of Dragons als ein echt mieses Buch herausgestellt hatte, auf die parallelen #AL Abenteuer zur Tyranny umgeschwenkt und meine Gruppe in die Richtung gelenkt. Hatte spontan leichte #ADnD2E Vibes und wir fühlten uns voll im #Harper Modus, die um die Main Storyline der Tyranny herum unterwegs sind und mittelbar Einfluss nehmen...
#RPGaDay2023 8) Favorite CHARACTER Gisla, the necromancer I played in the #TombOfAnnihilation campaign a few years ago. She was eaten by a monster during an epic #TPK was a likeable person, supportive to her friends, fun, but also neutral evil and she had very unique ideas of how to approach what was going on in Chuult. RIP Gisla ☺️
Honorable mention: Tengel, human fighter (#Midgard2E), my first character PC in the late 1980s who took my hand in his mailed fist, opened the door to the hobby
@mrundkvist it is weird how vividly one can remember one‘s first player character when you start playing „elfgames“ as a kid, isn‘t it? Like some memorable rite de passage. Lately, I talked to an old friend on the phone who still bemourns the demise of his #Adnd2E character „Ligur“ back in 1995… (oops, I was the dm in that session 🫢). And that guy does not even play #ttrpgs anymore since the late 1990s. Still keeps his dice though..as far as I know

My favourite #TTRPG (for its art) is #ChangelingTheDreaming. Though Fabian’s work in #ADnD2e was phenomenal, I fell in love with #VampireTheMasquerade 2e when I saw its pages; Changeling elevated that to the next level: it was bold and bright, and Leif Jones’ art subtly surreal. Precious few other RPGs were printed in full colour at that time, and it set the game apart. (Honourable—more recent—mentions go to #Aquelarre and #RuneQuestGlorantha. Again, bold and bright and atmospheric.) #gtkm
