I just created this playlist from #1077TheEnd radio station's music here in the great PNW. It's the post-grunge 21st century variety. (From the Seattle station that first broadcast grunge.)
I'm considering diving into some music artists I typically haven't listened to or know very little about, even the bands where I only know the hits. I'll go in chronological order, too. I have a music service which makes it possible to do it. The artists:
> Frank Zappa and the Mothers of Invention
> James Brown
> Phish
> Genesis
> Parliament
> Black Sabbath (I am a big fan but only know the big hits)
Are there any other bands worth my time to listen to the entire discography?
Tonight I'm going to see a little known band called The Arctic Monkeys. I wonder if Alex Turner will spot me in the crowd and remember that one time in early 2005 that a mutual friend of ours introduced us on a night out.
