Was in #Glastonbury today picking up some sinister artwork.
Parked the car and within 10 minutes had been yelled at by a bloke who was eating from a bag of pork scratchings the size of a pillow-case.
Then I was asked the time by a dude with an eyepatch who casually lifted up the patch and scratched the inside of his hollow eye-socket while talking to me.
Then I witnessed a funeral with a darkside Morris drumline, a viking shield wall, and a herse flanked by an outlaw motorcycle gang.
For a very, very brief moment or two, I was almost alone at the top of Glastonbury Tor. I’ve never managed to be the only human up there, but it’ll happen. Still, today was beautiful because it FELT like I was alone, and had these two gorgeous crows hovering just overhead. They came much closer to me than the photo shows, but I didn’t dare move to scare them off. 💚
I do music stuff on and off. I sometimes do stage tech stuff for the glitz, the glamour, the backache and tinnitus. I like retro computing, gigs, beer, comedy. Travel and languages are an aspiration rather than a reality. I occasionally run. Been in IT infrastructure for over 20 years. Almost getting good at it now.
