Wow. #Boulder had a hail storm about 45 min ago, but it wasn't that much and the creek was normal at the end. Now Skunk Creek is very flooded. Was this event a lot more intense upstream? #COwx#BoulderCO#Weather#FlashFlood

Question for outdoors folks in #Denver#Boulder#BoulderCO#Colorado (@mikoontz? @leahawasser?): Doing a #bikepacking trip on the front range in a couple of weeks, camping at >8K elevation for a few nights. Are there mosquitos or other nighttime biting bugs there in late June, or could I camp with only a tarp?
