After a long weekend of camping, hiking, and driving with the scouts, I'm relaxing by doing a little campaign maintenance for #ElementalApocalypse and checking out #DeliciousinDungeon.
I learned about the Japanese alt/indie/electronic rock band バンプ・オブ・チキン because their song “Sleep Walking Orchestra” is the theme song for #DeliciousInDungeon.
I’m enjoying their music, but can someone explain the meaning behind the name? Is something lost in translation? It literally translates to “bump of chicken.” What does that mean?
I am sick. I am crazy painful can’t trust a fart style sick. I have only the strength to find thirsty Dungeon Meshi posts and show them to my husband to get him mad at me. #anime#dungeonmeshi#deliciousindungeon
It's fascinating watching different site cultures react to things. Like, the last episode of #DungeonMeshi had a kinda cheesecaky scene with Marcille and Falin in the bath. Over on Reddit they barely noticed it, while over on the message board I'm on it was a fussy pagelong discussion of fanservice. And then there's Tumblr, rolling in the scene happy as a pig in slop (complimentary) :P
Google translate is horribly wrong in thinking that the anime "Delicious in Dungeon" is "Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon" in Japanese.
I'm guessing that google thinks that Anime + Dungeon = DanMachi.
