The #Map in #NeoFinder 8.5 has a new context menu with some very helpful options, like you can use it to quickly move GeoTags, or show locations in OpenStreetMap and Google Maps, among other things.
For very large and complex setups, you can now place Aliases of Catalog files in the NeoFinder Database folder. (Business License only)
Previous NeoFinder versions allowed Aliases to folders, but now NeoFinder can also handle catalog file aliases. That way you can give uses access to catalogs in different database folders on a NAS or server.
#NeoFinder 8.5 introduces a special READER mode. We had lots of requests for this, especially from customers with very large installations, to limit what certain users could change in the NeoFinder database.
#NeoFinder8 now catalogs the exact second a photo was taken, not just hour and minute along with the date.
It turned out we have a lot of photographers here who use #NeoFinder to catalog portraits and photos of sports events, and in such cases, a lot more than a single photo can be made in any minute.
There you have it. Seconds in the EXIF Capture Date!
