ISawTheWood, 3 months ago @glynmoody interesting article, however perhaps do both under an #IntegratedLandUsePolicy? #Timber from homegrown #CommercialForests is essential to mitigating #ClimateBreakdown through replacing more #Carbon intensive #BuildingMaterials & import substitution. Our forest cover is woeful compared with European average. Why not properly regulate our investment in forests, improve the silviculture & hence biodiversity. Oh, & '#NativeForest is commercial too, given #CarbonCredits
