Climbed up to the ruined tower that overlooks the village, that protected the estuary back when there was an estuary to protect (it filled with silt centuries ago).

See that kind of pinkish bit in the middle? Salt pans. They turn pink in the sun when the tide is out. Unfortunately, by the time I walked over to them, the tide was in.

Just watched the Chris Packham documentary on Channel 4. Seeing these old white guys with the power to actually do something sit with Chris and lie about the contents of the IPCC reports, juxtaposed with two 18 year old kids getting a criminal record for throwing some paint, is so monmumentally enraging I don't know what to say about it, except watch it. Get mad. Do what you can. But don't leave it up to kids.
