Accordingly, the government has granted 1,000 to citizens to pursue study in various fields at universities and research institutes, including undergraduate, master's, and doctoral degrees, as well as specialized internships and Russian language courses.

I support this... BUT... has anyone told the Minister how utterly dependant the Provinces are on exorbitant foreign tuition fees to fund domestic public colleges, universities, and even K-12 schools?

So my real question is: Will there be Federal funding restored to help Provinces deliver public education?

How about ?

I know now I'm just talking crazy talk... but I believe a society should value education, not tuition. So make education free for Canadians at Canadian Colleges and Universities.

If International Students would like to come here, use the cap system so it is a manageable number and then they can pay the “domestic rates” we pay now. Not some exorbitant and exploitative amount that is based on the Province's reluctance to pay for education, not the student's ability to pay for their coming to Canada.

IOW.

If you are Canadian and go to school in Canada you should not need to pay for Education.
If you come from elsewhere, you should not have to be rich.
