Every cherry/almond extract-flavored cake I'm finding calls for fresh cherries. I don't really like fresh cherries in food, because they don't taste like all that much. However, adding Maraschino cherries would introduce a lot of extra moisture. Maybe I should just make a basic cake and replace half the vanilla with almond extract? I'll keep looking.
@alexhall if money doesn't matter and you want food that is expensive for a reason and not as a rip-off geared towards rich people, consider #Luxardo#Cherries...
Even if that means you'd have to charge like €50 for a "Black Forest Cherry Ice Cup"...
