This week’s #PhotoChallenge word was ‘water’, so I looked on Maps to see a point along the Itchen that was reasonably accessible for us, and found this lovely spot in Winchester.

Not the best photos I’ve taken, and @Troggie version of the second one is much better than mine, but it was a nice trip.

Picturesque houses along the river, their reflection clear in the water. Around the shot verdant greenery in full flush.
