Snr Rs said McCarthy succeeded in part by bringing some of his antagonists from the SOH’s race into the decision-making process, incl. -placing 3 hardline conservatives onto the Rules CMTE -CHM Cole, working closely with conservatives like Massie, who ultimately backed the bill, helped them “ID problems early".
