Regarding the triplex exemptions the city is asking for, I don't necessarily think this is intentional NIMBYism. But it is unintentional NIMBYism.
We've had 10 years since Seattle last tackled it's zoning. Since then people have tried to answer whether or not upzones accelerate displacement. The research suggests the opposite, upzones reduce
