"Maybe tomorrow" is UB40 at their most infuriating: there's a great song somewhere, but we're not quite hitting the mark, and it turns into muzak for yuppies in their trendy wine bars.

We saw their first big hit last week, "Rain in the summertime" will be The Alarm's last big smash.

Their leather jackets have lost fringes, and the hair is a bit higher on the head, but they've lost little of the energy.

Spot the plasma ball on stage - these were the must-have cool toys of 1987, like a lava lamp or singing salmon.
