that ambivalent feeling when you fixed something for its main task (yay!) by making it less capable overall (fuck!) albeit in a way you don't really use (yay!) but have done and could again (fuck!) because despite knowing exactly what's wrong (yay!) you are never finding the part (fuck!)
which is why my 1st gen anker soundcore now has a barrel jack and is 100% externally powered.
tho' I suppose I could rig up a battery pack and make it mobile again. fugly, but mobile.
