25ml Absinthe, 25ml Red Vermouth, 25ml Campari, Orange twist (Psychopomp Absinthe from Bristol, Albury English Rosso vermouth), Rocks, Orange Twist

There's an old Savoy Drink called a Duchess which was equal parts Red & White Vermouth and Absinthe. So this led on to Count Negroni's wife, the Contessa's, version of his famous drink.

There's way too much going on in this dangerously strong drink!

50ml Jamaican rum (Appleton's Gold), 10ml Wray & Neph, dash angostura, 10ml Orgeat, 20ml Curacao, 20ml fresh lime juice, keep the husk, shake, big glass, rocks or crushed ice, straw, umbrella, tiki garnish, Spent husk skin up and waaaay too much mint so it tickles your nose, 5 bushy sprigs twisted in the fingers to release the menthol.

60ml Lough reel whiskey
22,5ml Campari
15ml banana liqueur
15ml chocolate liqueur
Half barspoon of absinthe
2 dashes of cocoa bitter

Stirr&Strain and pour in a chilled Martini glass.

This is a flavor bomb! More than highly recommended

40ml Appletons Gold, 10 ml Wray & Neph.

50ml overproof gin
15ml @bordiga1888 dry vermouth
Half a barspoon of soy sauce
5 drops of saline solution

Shake&Strain in a chilled Martini glass and garnish with an orange twist.

The mouthfeel is incredible! Delicious!

16 drops of Tabasco
8 drops of Worcester sauce
Half barspoon of horseradish sauce
A pinch of salt
Grounded pepper to taste

Shake&Strain in a tumbler with a big chunk of ice and garnish with a lemon twist.

Just what you need to be satisfied without getting fat.

Tonight's is a great cocktail from the prohibition era:

30ml light Cuban rum
30ml cognac
30ml triple sec
10ml lemon juice
A scant barspoon of simple sirup
3 drops of saline solution

Shake&Strain in a chilled coupe and garnish with a lemon twist.

I love brandy cocktails, and I love rum, so this one is one of the best I've ever made myself.

Anyone have any Hurricane making advice? This is for the cocktail, not a cyclone. :) I'd prefer not adding to my over-extensive liquor collection, but I'm happy to buy or make syrups or other inexpensive items. I imagine I need passionfruit. ;) I live in an control state (), so ordering a particular booze can be hard. Cheers! 🍸

I always choose my according to my taste, but sometimes...
Tonight I've had the :

60ml manzanilla (fino)
7,5ml Benedictine
Half a teaspoon of peated islay whisky

Stirr&Strain in a chilled Martini glass without any garnish.

Well, I love dry sherry, I love sherry , I also love all the ingredients of this cocktail, but it's not my cup of tea.

The peated note became a unpleasant "fishy" note, and the sherry got lost in between the salty whiskey and the sweet liqueur.

Not recommended.

Tonight's is the East India Negroni, from the great book "Sherry" of Talia Baiocchi

60ml rum, preferably a pot-still and colum blend, I've used Havana Club 3yo;
22,5ml Campari;
22,5ml sweet sherry.

Build in a fancy glass with a big chunk of ice and garnish with an orange twist.

From the serie "I've never drunk a I didn't like". This one is really something!
