I got these fugly looking #eggplants from a farmer friend. I get free fugly veggies from farm friends if they don't sell everything at market. These are damaged & definitely far from prime condition but still very good to eat/cook with! All free. Free, is my fave price 😊

I was behind on seed sowing starts again this past Winter!
I don't transplant any nightshade plants out into beds/pots until at least 2-3 flowers appear on starters. That helps the transplants to do much better - they're stronger if you wait a bit longer to transplant out.
