Why is it impossible to buy eGPUs in Europe? They're all sold out. Is anyone even still making these?

The best one out there (Razer Core
X Chroma) came out in 2020. It's 4 years old! The runner-ups don't even have an ethernet port or other USB ports.

Maybe this is what #framework should be making next.

Ich habe für meinen Laptop eine #eGPU-Box, die recht laut ist (klar. GraKas brauchen Kühlung). Ich möchte die idealerweise nur nutzen wenn ich die GPU-Leistung benötige.
Unter WIndows 10 muss ich dafür den Rechner immer neu starten, damit die eGPU erkannt und genutzt wird. Ist das unter Win11 und/oder Linux anders? Wie ist es mit dem abziehen, würde das funktionieren? Hat da jemand Erfahrung?
