So I just did basically this exact trip-and-fall (including the gasp) walking back up the three stairs in the hall between the living room and the bedroom, carrying a bagel and a glass of water...

The bagel flew to a safe spot and is OK. The towels are soaking up the water that I threw. My toe and knees hurt, and I have a scratch on my shin. I'm totally fine.

I require both pity and ridicule.
