Post your daily driver keeb. Doesn’t have to be mechanical. Here’s mine (minus the artisans, they’re just window-dressing whenever I take it to meetups). #Mechanicalkeyboards#mechanicalkeyboard#mechkeys
Six years ago today per #DayOne, I received my first boutique #mechanicalkeyboard, a #Varmilo VA87M. It was my second actual MK, but the very first TKL, the first that could be typed on at night without waking up the entire neighborhood, and the first to make me truly fall in love with the hobby. (The kiddo in the pic is now a 6’1 giant.)
GMK Earth Tones #keycap set with Hootie #artisan cap. I find this colorway really aesthetically pleasant and might have been convinced to get in on the groupbuy if it wasn’t GMK.
The Work Louder Nomad #keyboard looks niiiiiiiice. Has a digital info screen with #pomodoro timer, system stats, even a fun little tamagotchi-style companion. Low profile keycaps and "Atomic #Gateron" switches. Hotswappable. Knobs reminiscent of TeenageEngineering equipment. Pricey but god how meesa want it. Preorder status right now.
The insanely beautiful, super popular SA Carbon keycap set is available for an amazing price at Drop right now. I have it and am sorely tempted to buy it again despite not having a spare board to dress it with. $25 for the alphas, $49 for the mods. I paid $120 for both a few years ago, and an extra $40 for novelties. Attaching pictures of mine. Second pic is closer to the real colors - a nice subtle bone-color for the alphas.
