Pack and Raft.

A rather simple trip that involved 7km walking with boat shoes on tarmac. I really expected soft forrest trails here but I had to work with whats there :D After a lunch break with some cold nutritious powder in filtered water I made the jump to inflate the boat and transition into the river to head back to the start through some wilder sections with a little white water.

I'm Dave, 40-something software developer and occasional photographer in #Edmonton / #yeg / #treaty6.

I bike year-round, and have recently gotten into #PackRafting. I have a #chinchilla reptiles, and an elder cat. I love birds, beer, coffee, and cooking. I will post about these things in random order.

I'm big on building community, both off and online, which is why I started the yeg.bike Mastodon instance. I'm hoping it can help fill a void being left by the decline of the birdsite.
