Took some tinkering, but I’ve successfully updated Delta’s melonDS core to 0.9.5!

This primarily improves game compatibility — but also adds some new capabilities such as emulating the DS’ GBA slot 🎉

@rileytestut Cool features always revolve around Pokemon 😛. Now we need transfer pack support for n64, emulated link cable and dear I say, the possibility to connect to alternative online servers for DS 🫢

@apt @craiggrannell this tvOS behavior has been there all along. But now with the storage space available on Apple TVs this seems overkill? Apple always wanted games on the Apple TV but they made lots of choices that were non viable. This feature to start but at the beginning of tvOS games HAD to support the tv remote as an input, optionally only mfi controllers worked and apps initial size had to be maximum 200mb if I remember correctly. Might as well hook up a Batocera box to the tv 😛.

@craiggrannell @apt back in the day. When we couldn’t do something on the Mac. The answer was you have to use Windows. Now it’s more like, you’ve got to use Linux 😛.

If Apple's afraid of eating into Mac sales by putting macOS on iPad, just put the Hypervisor and Virtualization frameworks on iPadOS so third parties like Parallels can virtualize Windows 11 or Linux instead. Windows, at least, is much better suited for a touchscreen than macOS is. Let the developer/userbase validate the concept if you won’t — is a virtual desktop good or bad for the iPad platform?

@stroughtonsmith the real problem is Apple wants all the devices they sell except the Mac (and that’s only because they realistically can’t change that) to only have the App Store as a way to get apps. That’s the reason why they don’t want us to be able to use MacOS or any other OS on the iPad.
