I now have a new critical need to address for tomorrow:

$150 needed ASAP to cover paperwork fees, prescriptions, and food for my doctor's appointment tomorrow morning at 11 am CDT.

Also, would like to close out current PayPal disability fundraiser by reaching final goal of $1,200 by 10/9; now $429 short on that. Desire more than need, just for emergency sake.

Clearing up what may be some confusion:

The $771 figure shown at the PayPal fundraiser site reflects what has been already raised AND SPENT since the fundraiser began on September 6th. It does not reflect the $300 or so I have reserved/raised already for the COBRA premium payment, which still leaves me $320 short of what I need to pay it out, with some insurance for food.

Still nothing since this morning. I am freaking out now. $290 needed for closure.

BTW..as a stopgap I placed an application at healthcare.gov for their Marketplace coverage; they referred me to my state Medicaid & transferred my app there. More info on that as it develops; has no effect on this though.

Well...the miracle happened!!!

Right after that last toot, a very generous person donated the amount I needed to finish paying off the premium!!

Just finished the deal just now.

My benefits are back on and active for the rest of the month..
