CableMonster,

In this article it refers to hormone therapy for kids from age 6-17, so I would assume there are cases starting at 6.

I am going to keep this short because the lame mods will just remove my comment. The thing to focus on is that in our current environment minors that dont have gender dysphoria will be treated for it. The real question is how many this is happening to, and how we stop that.

CableMonster,

What is a better solution to the problem?

CableMonster,

So then should that be true about all the other necessary things? And if people are not incentivized to do things efficiently then why would the cost not increase?

CableMonster,

All of that is currently available but it doesnt meet the need. As far as government supplied housing, that is a disaster at best.

CableMonster,

Who then is going to provide housing at a supply that is sufficient?

CableMonster,

Who pays the contractors?

CableMonster,

So then the banks will own the house, how is that any better? I don t know what a community union is.

CableMonster,

The problem is that a lot of people dont want to or cant own homes because they dont make enough. Banks literally wont lend to many people because they are a bad bet and the bank will lose money. So you are just advocating for local landlords to be replaced by faceless corporations.

A credit union is not a “community union”, its just called a credit union and is just the same thing as a bank. I also like credit unions but its the same idea.

CableMonster,

Are any books in america being banned? I would think that it would be almost impossible to ban books unless they go directly against the first amendment.

CableMonster,

Censorship is different than banning. If you care about censorship happening inside public libraries, that always happens and its not a bad thing, we dont publicly provide every book to everyone.

CableMonster,

Well if “several conseravtives” believed it…

CableMonster,

What would be the end goal other than waste all of our money to get more people dead?

CableMonster,

If this war is so important to you, why are you not over there right now fighting instead of a conscripted Ukrainian?

CableMonster,

Oh wow, what a unique insult…

CableMonster,

So your theory is that housing is so expensive because of less regulation? And if we had more regulations in how houses are built housing would be cheaper?

CableMonster,

That is hillarious, I can tell you dont know anything about how housing built. Have a great day!

CableMonster,

This is not 1812 anymore. If it were like that why wouldnt you just work for yourself or an employer that treats you well?

CableMonster,

I understand your frustration but what am I supposed to say to someone that just repeats and believes ANY propaganda that their side tells them? What he said is so so far off from what reality is, its literally turned into a cult at this point.

CableMonster,

Sure thing bro!

CableMonster,

From the moment he said we need more regulation to make housing cheaper I knew he was just an NPC. Can you convince NPCs of anything?

CableMonster,

ZING!!! The difference is that I know exactly why all the thing that are listed is mere propaganda, I have heard and seen the same bullshit talking points over and over. If you guys want to just do what your team says, that fine, just dont think you are are actually thinking for yourself.

CableMonster,

One big thing you are missing is that I think the other side you are talking about is wrong also.

I dont have a side here, I literally do housing, and I fully understand every aspect of why its expensive. I dont care about narratives, I care about actual facts about why housing is not getting built. You guys are just repeating propaganda that falls apart under the most basic scrutiny. The problem is that if you are not able or willing to do that scrutiny then I am not going to help you, you have made your decision.

CableMonster,

I will give you the long and short of it; you guys are looking at the insignificant things that account for just a small amount of the problem (cue you googling and finding an alarmist article), the big problem is that its too expensive and hard to build. The reason it is too hard to build is 99% due to what the government does. More regulations will just make it worse.

CableMonster,

That is price fixing and can end them up in jail and is super obvious when on a large scale. Why couldnt it be the government just printed a bunch of money and that caused inflation?

CableMonster,

Going to the “TRANSPHOBE!!!” line. Have a great life!
