I keep feeling frustrated as valuable knowledge for my different hobbies over the last years became siloed away in corporate social media. I believe wikis could be a way out, but can we have decentralized, federated wiki software that can kind of talk among each other?
I think the second half of 2023 (well more like Q4/september) is gonna be amazing for game releases. Games like Payday 3, Cities Skylines 2, Starfield. Any other I missed that you're excited for?
I'm no data visualisation expert, but wouldn't it be better to have 2 lines rather than a line and a bar? To me this kinda seems theres a direct relation, which i guess there is but still...?
Ive seen some things (totally unrelated mobile apps) make ads optional. I think its a good idea if youre iffy about having them but do need them to keep the site up, im sure people would be happy to enable ads to support these types of sites. Plus cant be any worse than the shite youtube has for ads

When WSL2 first came out, some losers on /g/ were cheering that it would "make Linux obsolete". Four years later, I think it's safe to say they were kinda missing the point. (vlemmy.net)
How are lemmy and other fediverse platforms profitable?
