TIL that Paradox had disowned Star Trek: Infinite about 7 months after release. No more updates, no DLC.

My reaction to Star Wars Outlaws:

  1. Too much stealth. I hate stealth.
  2. But it looks well done.
  3. Kinda of humerous but not over the top, OK

Trying to figure out lighting for the basement. Previous owner added drop ceiling, but it's SO DAMN CLOSE to the joists and the A/C ducts that the ceiling was installed to hide that I don't think I could get even the lowest profile recessed lights installed. Looking into LED strip diffusion channels to MAYBE run along the ceiling support rails, but not sure how that will look on the ceiling or throwing light.

@scopique Prebuilt had a legit advantage the past years in that they avoided some tariffs. I think that's mostly passed, but still, nothing wrong with saving time/energy. If you do go the DIY route and need a Windows key DM me :) (and to clarify, a legit key)

I tried Underspace demo which claims to be a spiritual successor to Freelancer (bold claim) with a bit of Cthulhu mythos thrown in, and It's not bad.

I also have Homeworld 3 demo, which I am afraid to try because I hold Homeworld in such high esteem.

Also, I reinstalled Scars of Mars to give it the benefit of the doubt, but...day drinking, so....

@scopique Homeworld 3 was the first demo I went for, and... well I need to go figure out how I messed up the control options. I went with "classic" settings and seems all wrong to me. Everything else though, pretty neat.

Here, most of the engagement, lately, is complaining about what I'm doing or not doing. Unlike what I experience on Twitter, BlueSky, Insta and Threads. And to the point of losing all pleasure.

Yes, I rarely post alt text because it's time-consuming, I have to manage 5 accounts and there aren't enough people on my Patreon for me to devote enough time to it.

Yes, sometimes I put links to Twitter because I've been on it for 5 years and...

@TheSpaceshipper I don't doubt it :) Much prefer you here but understand logistics/overhead involved. I have followed on Patreon but that's not really for the regular frequent updates.
