"Over 70% of the Hallmark audience is past 50 years old. This breakdown of the most popular Hallmark Christmas movies shows they’re mostly a hit with the Medicare crowd, with over half of the audience aged 65 and up. "

Mostly a hit with Medicare crowd. A quick Google search shows mental decline can start as early as 45.

I wouldn’t be surprised if these people thought they were living in a Hallmark movie at any given time.

Mobvoi health, it is the companion app for the Ticwatch

Thanks, it’s crazy that it stayed low, I only managed 3hrs of sleep the night before running

Thanks! Im doing my best. Hoping to hit that 26.2 one day

Right?! I finally fell asleep at 2 and got up at 5 and went out(I’ve wanted to do an early morning run for a long time) but as soon as I got moving I didn’t feel sleepy or tired at all

@Conman_Signor@lemmy.one avatar

Hey, you’ll get there! I’m new to running myself. The secret to running long distance is finding a comfortable speed. I used to go out and run as fast as I could and I’d burn up. So once you find a good pace things level out.

It is, the app itself is not so bad. A lot of people on Reddit hate the watch and the app but so far with my use these last few months it’s been very nice, all my data lined out nicely, easy to read.

Thanks! I will

I know! And tbh it really didn’t feel like 3 hrs, time goes by a lot quicker than you think

Thank you

The mobvoi health app. I use a ticwatch to track all activities

Gonna be honest the only older game I had trouble on windows with was Dragon Age Origins. No matter what I did, it crashed out every time

Still sore 5 days after leg day

Basically, it’s been five days and I’m unable to even sit in a chair without a struggle. I didn’t go too hard, mainly squats and leg press. I didn’t think it would take this long to recover considering I still run 4 times a week. Is it normal to be this sore and what can I do to help it?...

Conman_Signor,
@Conman_Signor@lemmy.one avatar

I mean I get about 6-7hrs daily. My work schedule makes things hard, and then with overtime being unpredictable it’s hard

Conman_Signor,
@Conman_Signor@lemmy.one avatar

The first leg I’ve done in 7 years was friday. Before that I was just running 4 days a week(easy run, tempo, interval, and long run). I have huge legs but trying these different compound movements makes me realize how weak I am

Conman_Signor,
@Conman_Signor@lemmy.one avatar

But before that I’ve done leg press and calf raises and the like, some stationary bike. Free weight with barbells really scared me because I don’t want to mess up my back with bad form. Like it scared me to the point that I’d get under the bar and I start shaking because I don’t want to mess up. But now I can under there and do it, it’s just my legs are really tight and it gets hard getting down into a low squat

@Conman_Signor@lemmy.one avatar

Me, every single time I have an extended amount of time off from work. There’s so much time I can do anything I want, what’s there even to do. What do I want to do? Wrestle with that until the last day then find something I really want to do and end up not having a lot of time for it.

Conman_Signor,
@Conman_Signor@lemmy.one avatar

Yeah that could be it, I usually run from my house due to time constraints, (I work 11am to 11pm). I’d love to find somewhere to do some trail running

Conman_Signor,
@Conman_Signor@lemmy.one avatar

Dude! Same, I lose confidence for some reason and have anxiety about running but as soon as I just do it I feel better. It just feels like climbing a mountain sometimes to just get started again.

Conman_Signor,
@Conman_Signor@lemmy.one avatar

Same. Got my steam deck week before last. It really cut into my running time.

Conman_Signor,
@Conman_Signor@lemmy.one avatar

I mean honestly I just keep mine in the living room. Keeps me involved in family time and I’m not locking myself away

Conman_Signor,
@Conman_Signor@lemmy.one avatar

This. This is what I was looking for. I currently game on my laptop so I can break it out and play then put it up so it doesn’t get messed with( little one running around). The idea of a dedicated gaming room seems awesome but It also seems like a way to close yourself off. And I don’t like that. I like being able to hangout in the same room with everyone and still play my games.
