@ivory I’d like to request an enchantment for Ivory. When I reply to a post that’s deleted (I don’t know it’s deleted), Ivory will give me an error and when I retry it then fails and deletes my message. It would be great in that situation if it saved my message as a draft if it fails to send it, so I can recover it.
@danielpunkass I’m looking to buy MarsEdit and I wondered if you can tell me if there’s any difference between the App Store version and the website version?
@Craktok Hi Sean - thanks for the interest. The only differences between the Mac App Store version and website version are in the ways the app updates itself and verifies purchase of premium features. This could change in the future if Apple adds restrictions to App Store capabilities, but I don't anticipate it.
@ivory I can’t access the @wongmjane account in the link below. It does work in Mona. Does this mean that Ivory doesn’t support Thread users yet? It does pop up a message to “open in browser” but that doesn’t do anything when I tap it.
@ivory can you help? I originally had the beta iPad app, but I now have the App Store version. But I get this message on my iPad for Ivory push notifications. They work fine on my iPhone.
@Craktok This is a Mastodon issue and happens most on very busy servers like mastodon.social. Easy fix is to go to Ivory's notification options in our settings, turn off all the switches, wait 10-15 seconds, then turn them back on. Should reset the issue.
@ivory so back in the Tweetbot days I tweeted you about implementing some system for liking/favouriting tweets when offline (like when I was on the tube) and you graciously added that feature to Tweetbot. Is there any way we can get the same feature in Ivory?
@Craktok Will have to look into why it was disabled in the first place. If it was a feature in Tweetbot, it should be in Ivory unless we removed it at some point for some reason.
