Having binged Fallout, 3 Body Problem and The Boys recently, I’ve moved onto Severance. It’s a quirky, slow burn with an intriguing setup. 7/10 jaffas so far....
I don’t watch that much so it takes me forever to get through things, but I’m currently working on Star Trek Lower Decks season 3. I have also started watching Babylon 5, but it’s a sci fi show from the 90s so it remains to be seen whether it still holds up. I’m only 2 episodes in so it’s hard to say, but I suspect it will only be a good watch if you’re nostalgic for 90s sci fi.
I’ve also recently watched through all of Star Trek Picard, which was decent enough but it was basically about getting the old crew back together so if you haven’t already watched Star Trek: The Next Generation then you’ll probably not enjoy it as much.
Lots of Star Trek on my list but only cause they are really pumping them out these days. Also started watching 11.22.63 a while back but got distracted. I enjoyed the book (a recent-ish Stephen King novel) and it’s got a decent rating on IMDB so should be a good watch.

A 43-year-old man has been arrested in Auckland after an elderly woman was viciously knocked to the ground in an unprovoked attack in broad daylight on Sunday....
This is a real WTF, the guy just elbows an old lady in the face leaving her in a critical condition in hospital. It’s all in the video so don’t watch if you don’t want to see that.
An update, we are up to date with Lemmy.world! Aussie.zone still in dire straights, but I have messaged to see if they are aware and to offer assistance.
Yeah it’s pretty awesome that a server has reached the level of activity where this started to become an issue. The underlying issue should be solvable in lemmy, and people are working on it, but it takes time because there is no obvious and perfect solution. It’s awesome that there are people able to create these interim solutions in the meantime.
Without seeing a specific case, my guess is they aren’t on a Lemmy.world community.
The community is responsible for federation. So for example if you are looking a post on a lemmy.ml community, if a Lemmy.world user comments then that comment will come to Aussie.zone via Lemmy.ml not via Lemmy.world. If federation with Lemmy.ml is fine, then you will see that comment straight away even though it’s from a Lemmy.world user.
We absolutely sell in those markets. Grass fed beef and A2 milk are two examples. If you’ve been overseas, you can look for “New Zealand” on menus to see what’s considered higher quality than a commodity.
I don’t know, but I don’t think it matters. It’s easy to switch to if your main market is taken up from lab milk, A2 and Fontera actually fought each other as Fonterra blocked them from encouraging farmers to breed A2 cows. If needed we could solve that.
But the point was you said we don’t sell premium products which isn’t true at all. And when lab milk takes over the bulk of dairy, there will still be global auctions for “real” cow milk, because there will still be a market for it.
Not all uses of such weapons are prohibited by treaty. The present invention is capable of delivering lethal and non-lethal toxins, including any agent that can be carried and administered by a mosquito.
I’m sorry but WTF. This is a patent about using mosquitoes to deliver lethal toxins? How is this not prohibited by chemical warfare treaties? Only legal if you use it against your own citizens?
