Has anybody ever encountered that Alt+Windows+N pops up a pesky window? I've seen it for the first time now on a new machine. @app

@menelion @app Yes! Mine does it all the time. Whenever I want to post an original post I have to use the visible interface.

@menelion @app That would be wonderful. It is one of the 2 minor problems I'm having with tweescake right now. The other has to do with sound packs not being used even though each one has its own folder.

I just watched The Road Home again and I am still thrilled that it exists. Whatever else 2023 was, it was also the year we got new Babylon 5 for the first time in over 15 years.

On newyears eve, it will be 12/31/23 Look at the numbers without the slashes and you'll see why this amuses me so much. So, I want to be able to ring in 12:34:56 on 12/31/23.

Found a FLAC copy of the 1982 BBC Radio 4 adaptation of The Lord of the Rings, which I had on 13 CDs in the early 2000's. Some of those CDs were damaged because I played them quite a lot. It's great to have an exact digital duplicate of that. The production really feels ahead of its time; I assumed it was a lot newer until I saw the year as part of the metadata.
Debating on manually editing out all the beginning and end material on each CD and merging it all into an M4B or something. One of the many benefits of lossless is being able to do that without any transcoding.

@simon I'm hearing the introductory music for that amazing series in my head. Some of the greatest vocal performers were in that radio play. Brian, the guy who wrote and adapted the play is a genius.

Here's an idea for a addon that could potentially make life easier for a lot of less technically-advanced users: a latest release downloader from any repo. Select the URL of a repo, hit a keystroke and boom! the latest installer of that cool project you've heard about is right there. Have done some preliminary research and it seems that it's doable. I sadly lack Python coding skills to put it into action.
