Might be a dumb question since I have no experience with sensors. What would you have been able to do if the received an alert while you were out of town is the sensor able to turn the fridge off and on? Is that what you meant by “simple $10 temperature sensor could have saved everything”?
Oh it’s happening quite fast. My very small rural home town was already dwindling when I graduated 15 years ago. Now sports teams in the area are having to consolidate with neighboring towns and consolidating entire districts is in talks.
Traveling for business and got this delivered via grub hub. Total shot in the dark as to whether it was going to be any good or not. Can honestly say its the best fried chicken I’ve ever eaten. Sunday sighs of contentment.
I like that it brings back nostalgia of when memes first started in the early ‘10s. I used 9GAG back then and when I left Reddit, I checked it out to see what was going on on there. When did 9GAG become so right wing? There’s a lot of homophobic and transphobic post on there. Surprisingly, everyone is pro Ukraine though.
Bacon got REALLY expensive the year before I left the chef life for the wide world of food sales. I ended up running this as a special on the bars but it’s become a staple for me whenever I get the craving....
I’ve tried looking online but I’m not savvy enough to find a good answer. I haven’t been on Reddit since June 30, and am interested in seeing the number of people who have migrated. I know the Reddit user base is huge, so idk if it has been enough to hurt the site. Fuck spez.
That’s good to see. I know the first few days that I used Lemmy my feeds were pretty sparse. Now I can endlessly scroll though new content. I hope the growth continues.
I don’t deny the problems with this country. I vote to try and make this country better. Seeing the same posts about how horrible this country is gets old after a while. A majority of Reddit and this site would agree with the flaws of the US. The people who really need to hear this stuff aren’t on here.
Don't forget Temperature Sensors for your Fridge!
Learned my lesson after a trip last week… I have sensors for nearly everything, but somehow totally forgot about the Fridge / Freezer....

This restaurant refused to seat a black customer for wearing an informal attire, while the other seated white patrons were wearing informal attire but still given a table. (packaged-media.redd.it)

Does anyone know how many people have left Reddit?
