The article doesn’t explicitly state it but it’s obvious from that fence and the nails through the hands that this was a literal crucifixion. Which sounds like something that should be said out loud instead of dodged.
I don’t think he has ever explained it. My guess is that he doesn’t want just a mass of black. So by putting a black cloud shape around the moon and purple for the rest it creates a sense of movement and surreal vividness that actually doesn’t exist in the real world.
Is it falsifiable? Or is all evidence that it’s not true actually fodder for a bigger conspiracy that eventually triggers 1-e^tφ via Grimes’ conspiracy collapse theory?
I don’t know that there really needs to be two sources on the same platform given how niche it is. Then there is an issue of Lemmy not allowing me to post to some groups and it would be odd if I created a group only to find out I can’t post to it without a 403 error. Lastly I’m using Boost for Lemmy and I’d have to sort out all of its moderation options, which I’m not even sure are fully functional yet.
