So, @thurrott ... Windows 10 has started giving me notices a couple times a day that I should switch to Adobe Acrobat as the default for PDFs. I've had Acrobat for as long as it's existed -- but that was a bit much. I uninstalled it.
If you're wondering why I'm up at such a silly hour for the US Midwest... Remember @pluralistic Cory Doctorow's book "Eastern Standard Tribe?" Turns out my bioclock is syched to the Olduvai Gorge, as I figured out the other day. So far as my body is concerned it's 3:22 pm.
Listening to the Mysteries Abound podcast from Paul Rex, one of my favorites. Spent some time discussing and describing cryptids. And I wondered from that...
Do all #cryptids have glowing red eyes? Are there cryptids that have glowing blue or green eyes?
Something I wondered about with heygen.ai, @jasonhowell ... @jeffjarvis mentioned using that on Homer Simpson... Would HeyGen make the cartoon's lip movements more realistic?
Saw something on #LinkedIn about the rise of the "Experience Economy." And immediately I thought of @pluralistic and those workers being paid in Woofy.
Hey @AbandonedAmerica I finally found your podcast! Listening to the one from 01/23/2023 about the church. You sound nothing like your typing makes you sound. 🙂
Currently #reading the "Shadow Vanguard" series by Tom Dublink Michael Anderle and Craig Martelle on my #Kindle. It's part of that Kutherian collection.
SF, fairly plausible, except the spymaster named Nathan Lowell. Where do these SF folks get these crazy names?
@nlowell@bookstodon Just finished the second book in "Shadow Vanguard," and I absolutely love this series! The good news is I got the full collection as a bundle on my #Kindle -- and the bad news is it's the full series and it'll be done. (sigh)
