KermitLeFrog,

The problem it was never a joke, it was always barely conscious retards saying “Let’s go Brandon” thinking it was some kind of clever inside joke and that no one knew what they were actually saying

KermitLeFrog,

I mean personally what bothers me about it is that it’s all AI-generated. Personally seeing an AI image just kills any potential humor. Even the lowest effort of slapping two images on top of each other in PowerPoint would be preferable. And in fact the lack of effort in and of itself can be funny there too. But there’s nothing creative or interesting about asking an AI image generator to make a funny image imo

KermitLeFrog,

What internet are y’all living on where shitposting was never creative or interesting?

KermitLeFrog,

Oh no, it’s so hard to come up with different words to get the pretty image I want!!1!1!1!!1! It’s not hard, you’re just a dumbass who thinks your effort is more valuable than it is

People who generalize as if the US is one government instead of one big inept government and then 50+ governments that have districts and counties and cities are aggravatingly ignorant and smug.

“The US should do X and they suck because they don’t!” Each state has it’s own laws on education. Some places suck, some do not. It’s not a monolith....

KermitLeFrog,

American here, these discussions have absolutely no bearing on anything. The US propaganda machine will keep churning regardless of what any of us think, our lawmakers are only doing the bidding of the corporate ruling class and if they try to go against that grain they’re blackballed from politics basically forever. I’m glad some Europeans see through the propaganda but many non-Americans truly don’t understand how bad it is here and still to this day move here seeking “freedom” that no longer exists (and arguably never did). Honestly the guy who made this post is at best a bad faith troll parroting twenty year old talking points to distract people and piss them off. Anyone with access to Google should know that the cultural distinction between the bay area and Chicago are smaller than the distinction between Sussex and Manchester. Calling OP a fucking dumbass is both an understatement and unproductive, but it’s no less productive than any comment actually trying to change OP’s mind about such an uneducated opinion.

KermitLeFrog,

I find it hard to believe that Vermont Colorado and California even fit in with Western European standards considering the absolute lack of any useful public transportation in any of those states. Even NY only resembles Europe in NYC, upstate NY is some of the worst parts of the US to live in.

KermitLeFrog,

I mean if you wanna play this game, our public education also is not up to the standards of those countries, unless you’re comparing to Bosnia instead of Germany for some odd reason. Yes, especially in those states you mentioned. Also those states are still subject to the American healthcare system. And those states, possibly excluding VT, have a much higher rate of poverty and homelessness than any developed nation in Europe. All of these things are enough to destroy your argument by themselves, but when added up you have no legs to stand on

KermitLeFrog,

I’ve almost never felt like a European was talking down to me. If you feel like you’re experiencing that often, maybe there’s a reason. I know self-reflection is hard for you, our school system propagandizes our children to never do such a thing, but I believe that you can change for the better.

KermitLeFrog,

You literally said in your post that America is not that bad and that there’s somehow a world of difference between different states, I’m just stating facts about how everything about those statements is bullshit. You can be mad about that if you want but you can’t claim it’s not that bad here when it’s literally worse than every developed nation

KermitLeFrog,

My fault, I didn’t know I was talking to Yuri. Sorry for wasting my time talking to you

KermitLeFrog,

I really don’t want to Google this one. I finally stopped getting tired of California Dreaming

KermitLeFrog,

What if I like Weezer, nine inch nails, Radiohead, AND pre 2013 Kanye?

KermitLeFrog,

The lack of imperial Japan in this image is disturbing

KermitLeFrog,

Yeah totally. But if you dare even insinuate that Japan was anything other than a victim of WW2, the public outcry is so massive that you will be forced to publicly apologize and denounce your previous statement

KermitLeFrog,

I worked as a cameraman in college for about a year and a half. Your producer can see every angle from every camera simultaneously. So depending on the producer, you’d either get chewed out or get big laughs for doing this. But people still did it all the time regardless

KermitLeFrog,

In terms of outcomes they demonstrably have no difference lmao. Making fun of enlightened centrists is no longer a thing. Both the DNC and the RNC serve the same master, and it isn’t the voting population. Decades of picking the lesser of two evils have led us to this point.

KermitLeFrog,

It wasn’t just lesbian relationships. Pretty much any gay/lesbian relationship when written about by historians calls them roommates or very close friends or some bullshit like that

KermitLeFrog,

Do you live somewhere where growing is legal? How did you get started? I’m interested in self growing but idk where to start, and where I live it’s not exactly allowed

KermitLeFrog,

I mean, Marvel and Star Wars do both suck under Disney, and in fact Disney has been the leading horse in Hollywood’s decline over the past 10 years. But it doesn’t really have anything to do with “wokeness”, moreso bad writing and painting critics of said bad writing as racists/sexists just bc of ppl like this guy

We're probably pretty fortunate that humans have at least some degree of self control over when we stop eating.

Like, I just was thinking about how lots of pet species will just eat as much food as you give them to the point of making themselves sick, and keeping them at a healthy weight requires not giving them access to too much food. Obviously some humans have problems with this, but imagine how bad things would be if everyone were...

KermitLeFrog,

I’m still convinced that fat people just don’t have this feeling. Like when I eat too much, I legitimately feel sick. Stomach aches, neck and chest pain, nausea, lethargy, it’s awful. I’m on the borderline between healthy and overweight (even though I have basically no fat on my body). I have no idea how anyone functions while eating enough to gain and maintain all this weight. It’s completely insane to me

KermitLeFrog,

My roommate is the biggest unabashed communist of anyone I know and he argues with me whenever I try to shit on Mr. Beast. I really don’t know what that guy’s planning but I know it’s not good. No one gets that popular on the Internet without being a piece of shit.

The lack of "real world complaints" and "anger" in popular music genres helps keep the masses docile

Been thinking a bit about this, popular music (the ones that hit top 100 charts or whatever) never has lyrics that point out real problems or point to culprits and how they’re fucking our shit, which is very easy to find in punk rock and some variations, as well as rap....

KermitLeFrog,

the charts are what people are actually listening to

But this statement by itself is incredibly disingenuous. Artists and record labels literally have to pay Spotify to get their songs to be played in the algorithm. Yes, it is technically what people are listening to but it’s actually almost always which record company decided to break open their wallet the most for that particular song.

KermitLeFrog,

Counterpoint, killing yourself is letting the system win and you can find ways to not only make your life better, but also everyone else’s by staying here.

KermitLeFrog,

Yeah, you’re misunderstanding what I’m saying dude. Everything you just said is plainly obvious to anyone with eyes. I’m saying that killing yourself and “competing” within the system are the same thing, letting the system win. And you have a third option, which you describe as “collaborating with others” (pretty accurate I might add), by which the system can be defeated. But if you kill yourself or assume the system is infallible, you are complicit in allowing the system to continue to fester and make everyone else miserable.

The working class has always had the power to end this when acting as a collective, but hyperindividualism and decades of propaganda have convinced people that it is impossible. People like you, who could’ve truly made a difference but ultimately chose to suffer in silence believing it was what was best for their family. Even those who are aware enough to recognize these problems still are crushed under the weight of the sheer number of problems to solve. This is by design, it makes it more intimidating to overcome and prevents anyone from even attempting. Yet the system will crumble on its own sooner or later, it’s already an unstable system built on the impossible dream of infinite expansion. We need only exploit this dream to accelerate the destruction of the system, and as a side effect, the liberation of the oppressed.

KermitLeFrog,

I’m not arguing that the people are to blame, obviously it is malicious intent on the part of the system. But the system alone is not strong enough to cause such a change, the people had to be willing and responsive to the treatment. Ignoring personal wrongdoing in favor of wholly blaming the greater evil, while justifiable, is not conducive to actually improving your own view of yourself. Nor is it realistic to view the world from such a black and white lens. The nuance is often lost on most people, and yet the nuance is where everything important lies.

I’ve been suicidal since the age of 10 years old, believe me everything you say is not news to me. The governments are part of the system that subjugates us, obviously they wouldn’t give a fuck about us killing ourselves. And the system is designed to destroy, so the fact that it’s bringing about our destruction shouldn’t be considered a failure of the system. It’s working as intended. For the same reason every election is a farce, you shouldn’t just be overwhelmed and give up. You should feel angered and empowered by your sense of self, your understanding of humanity’s precarious position, and surround yourself with people who think like you.

That’s the first step to “mutualist organization”. Which, obviously, takes time. Just like it took time for those in power to build this system in the first place. They felt it worthwhile to build a system capable of subjugating the world and compelling its subjects to suicide. But you don’t feel it worthwhile to resist and destroy that system. You just give up and say it’s not worth the effort.
