@freddy Mal angenommen man wollte auf Firefox-Basis ein Theme bauen, das sich so verhält wie der Arc Browser (Tab Split View, Seitliche Tabs, Overall look and feel). Glaubst du das ist mit vertretbarem Aufwand machbar, oder eher nicht?

We've got text-wrap: balance and text-wrap:pretty but when do we get text-wrap:- adjust-font-size-so-it-fits-the-width-and-doesn't-wrap ?

@madonius I’d say about 40% were just clicking a button or checking a checkbox before that. About 30% required more data like a name, mail, phone number where most of the time fake data like bla@example.com worked well. Some of the nasty ones verified mail addresses. Some by magic, a few by actually sending a mail with a verification link…

@madonius Some required actual cell phone numbers from a specific country and the worst were the: “you can have 300mb of data and after that you have to pay $BIGDOLLAR to get more”, which raised the question of how they actually identify recurring devices (afaik the iPhone sends chaning MAC addresses?).

@cy @madonius I am sure they could identify my device multiple times in multiple captive portals. It would be interesting to find out how they did it. Unfortunately I could not find a simple way to debug the web views to see if they use any web trickery.

I go first: I’m in Tokyo right now and I am amazed by so many things. The culture of using public transport, the food, the million different microcosms, the themed Cafés and the way people interact with each other.

I guess Tuesday afternoon is a good a time as any to announce that I’ve built a blog: https://mitten.lol I used @eleventy, and it’s mostly gone okay. There’s some learning curve there. And I still have no clue how to automate a regular posting workflow. Right now, I write a post, I build locally, I use ftp to upload it to my webhost. That seems automate-able, but all I can find is posts/tutorials that say “use Netlify!” (1/2)
