[Wojnarowski] Sacramento Kings All-NBA C Domantas Sabonis has agreed to a contract renegotiation and extension for a total of $217M over five years — including $195M in new money, his agents Greg Lawrence and Jason Ranne tell ESPN.
I think the Kings are really exciting, but historically I haven’t really watched the Kings play (which has gotten worse as Ive had less time to watch basketball the last few years). The only real time I watched them this year was during the playoffs where I thought Sabonis was quite submissive? Lacked confidence almost? And didn’t really look to assert himself.
I feel like it could be a bit of an opportunity for Countdown?
I know a lot of people are quite vocal about how expensive Countdown is, maybe just go all in on the more “eco” front to shift/revamp their image?
Try and shift their customers behaviors?, or am I being naive and do you think good portion of their customers leave because they don’t get their veges packed like how they are used to.
[Woj] Free agent G Dillon Brooks has agreed on a four-year, $80 million contract with the Houston Rockets, his agent Mike George of @OneLegacySports tells ESPN. Rockets have now landed two targets in free agency — Fred VanVleet and Brooks.
Man I really hate my XPS13. Had it for a few years now, and Sleep & Hibernation are always so hit and miss. THey will wake themselves up and then crash more often than not.
Yeah, I’m not looking forward to changing either. I really value Long Battery Life and decent performance, but don’t game.
Partners got a m2 Macbook Air, and I’m leaning that way more and more now (though the last time I had a macbook, I didn’t really gel with it for some reason).
I only recently got into English breakfast, and I must say there are times when I crave it. Having it milk almost makes it feel like a meal. Quite a heavy (don’t know what to call it) drink.
RFA Austin Reaves has agreed to return to the Los Angeles Lakers on a four-year, $56 million Early Bird maximum contract, sources tell @TheAthletic @Stadium. Agents Aaron Reilly and Reggie Berry of AMR Agency negotiated the new deal to keep Reaves in L.A. long term.
Smaller communities / more quiet threads where I really participate and get in a conversation with people. Other times I just like having a lot of different threads with a lot of different information etc.
The successful challenge but loss of challenge thing never made sense to me. So glad it’s being changed. But is it another challenge they get when the first one is successful? Or do they retain the challenge everytime they are successful?

Other people have said the same, but Apollo was my most used App on my phone.
I find that during the day, I mainly browse Reddit on my phone, as I can’t stand not having RES on my work laptop. I’ll have to see what sort of adjustments I’ll have to make, as I was looking at using both Reddit (via browser on my laptop) and Lemmy (via wefwef on my phone) whilst the lemmy community gains a bit more traction.
I was thinking of going a bit overboard with Gib Rail on top of the existing Gib Board, and then doing 2 layers of 13mm Noiseline Gib.
But then i looked more closely at the original building plans, and noticed how “solidly” it seems to be built currently, and thought about just adding an extra layer of 13mm Noiseline Gib directly onto the existing Gib? In essence, that would be two layers of gib (1x 10mm, 1x 13mm noiseline), battened 50mm off from the masonry.
Im my mind, I was thinking that would add that extra little bit of noise performance? Thoughts on this? I was thinking of keeping it relatively simple for now, and then if we are finding it lacking later on, we’d do the whole Gib Rail thing.
