Depends on how it’s been roasted, moka pots generally work better with darker roasts. I find Mexican beans tend to have a flavor profile somewhere between Central/South American beans and East African beans, so if it’s a lighter roast you might be better off with a pour over or an aeropress (personally I think everything works well with an aeropress).

My biggest issue here is the assumption that there must be a side one has to pick in the Russo-Ukrainian war. I’m not supporting Russian but I’m not “Slava Ukraine” either or whatever the hell the libs say. Both countries are corrupt with ultra right problems. I just want the bloodshed to end and a peace deal, which by lib standards makes me a tankie I guess.

This screams, still in high school, maybe very early college, and unaware of how undeveloped their understanding of political economy is. Like, they’ve got enough of a moral compass to understand that equitable distribution of wealth and property is good, but zero sense of class struggle or the use of systems to maintain that inequality. I don’t think they get that the people they want to ask very nicely to share their wealth are the same ones that run those systems to ensure they get to sit on their piles of wealth.

It’s possible they could become a proper leftist but not without getting some basic theory into them first.

The road trips would be much more enjoyable if there was a robust web of transit networks and 15 minute neighborhoods. If you’re taking a road trip vacation somewhere, the worst traffic is always around the major urban areas during rush hours when all the commuters are clogging the highways as there’s no good light rail or transit options.
