I can't believe it. My first book is nearly done. I remember when it started as "just a 10 page zine" and now it has over 100 pages of content with dozens of illustrations.
So satisfying, I can't wait to start conversation with some publishers to see how far I can take this. @rpg @RPG @ttrpgs

That’s so awesome!

What is it about? The images not readable for me sadly. Is it a game system or setting? Or something else. How long did it take you to write it? Did you do the illustration yourself? I have a lot of questions.

I never had this happen either when I lived alone. Now that I have a partner and they do the laundry most of the time socks have started to go missing. But I’m not sure what she does differently. It is the same washing machine.

I saw Ninjon on YouTube paint that model recently if you are looking for inspiration.

@tabletopminis I was told I should post here by @ReadyUser31

I'm new to painting miniatures, but I've been playing DnD for a long time. Recently I've been 3d printing and painting my own miniatures. I'm not great at painting and unfortunately I'm trying to keep pace with the campaign I'm running. Here are some examples.

    Ankhegs - Monster from DnD
Dearven Ruins, from DnD module Dragon of Ice Spire Peak.
Loggers Camp from DnD module Dragon of aice Spire Peak.

These look nice. I especially love the boar looking thing with the blue tattoo accents. Very nicely done.

If this is what you do with cheap acrylics and little experience you got some epic minis ahead oh you. Miniature paint has higher pigment density which will make painting minis a ton easier.

Also keeping up with a campaign in prints and painting can be difficult. Been there.

I can give the same compliment back!

Salutations from a complete novice. What's your recommendations to get started?

Note: A FLGS in town actually has a mini-painting workstation that you can use for $5/session, or as part of their monthly subscription for playing TTRPGs onsite. Since I play PF2E there several times a week I have that subscription. So I have a place to paint that's already kitted out with just about anything you could need for mini-painting. (I think they charge extra if you want to add stuff like grass, sand, etc. to the mini, but the primer, paints, sealers, etc. are all included.)

I have two awesome minis arriving soon that are unpainted, so I'm looking for online sites/videos that start from "I know nothing" and work up from there.

Thanks in advance for any and all guidance you can provide!

Yay, another fellow Pf2e painter. Welcome!

Since you already got that subscription thing I’d just practice there and see what works for you. People tend to have different preferences in techniques, paints, materials, brushes, tools etc.

my two favourite beginner painting guides (as I get asked this regularly) currently are
