That picture will forever haunt me in my dreams.

It’s too small to be used by the average human being, which is why you don’t see it anymore.

Some topics are way too depressing for me to talk about.

“We don’t need articles, but we have a fuck ton of grammatical genders”

Says the same country that also fears non-binary gender identities, that’s actually kinda ironic

As a Eurovision fan from Morocco, I have to say this:

This company is garbage. Also, keep dreaming about our return to the contest because it’s not happening within the next eon.

Well… there’s a lot of politics involved. But to sum it up, the organizers of the contest refuse to kick out Israel, and everyone is complaining about it.

In addition to that, the Netherlands, one of the countries that made it to the final, got disqualified at the last moment because there were allegations of its representative doing something to a camerawoman, for seemingly not respecting his choice of not wanting to be filmed after his performance. And yes, everyone complained, especially since there was no genuine evidence about it.

As a result, this year’s contest has become one of the most controversial ones in its history, and it was only saved when Switzerland won the thing. It’s really sad because I used to genuinely enjoy this show, it got me through some pretty tough times of my life.

I’m a Eurovision fan. The same thing happened to me this year.

Driver issues were mostly the fault of the manufacturers, not Microsoft. But even then, it would be a pretty terrible experience regardless.

Resol,
@Resol@lemmy.world avatar

Oh well.

At least they fixed it. But once they fixed it, nobody cared anymore.

His episode about the Nickeloden Hotel in Orlando, Florida, as well as Disney’s very forgotten food item, the Handwich (catchy name) is what I liked the most.

He even made a documentary that revealed who composed the Disney Channel theme song.

DankPods made me interested in vintage electronics, high end audio equipment, and some other very niche things. The owner of that channel also has other channels that talk about cars, drums and cymbals, and video games. Before all that, he used to remix Simpsons episodes.

Yeah there’s no denying that.

I like Bruges too

I think it suits me the most out of every western European country. Not to mention being the queer person that I am, I’d like to go somewhere where I’d be accepted.

Also, I’m a Moroccan that has so much trouble fitting into Moroccan society. I genuinely don’t feel attached to my country of origin at all, contrary to the “Moroccans” that live in Belgium today, no wonder why everyone in there is sick of them.

I even use a Flemish sounding username online just because it’s funny (the “Resol van Lemmy” bit)

A little something called visa restrictions is what’s preventing me from going there immediately.

I think it’s time for me to utter my favorite French proverb: “chacun a sa façon de rire” which translates to “everyone has their way of laughing”

Yeah, I know Belgium isn’t for everyone. It will never be for everyone. Nothing is for everyone.

Anything with either the Xfce or LXQt desktop environment would be good enough for you. I heard those are pretty lightweight.

LXDE is kinda nice too.

I don’t even know if it’s Dutch, Afrikaans, or gibberish. It might as well be all three at once.

Devotion to the faith (I still believe in God but I just don’t feel connected to him), marriage, having children, cars, being super rich, universities, patriotism, being in an anglophone country just because I’m too good at English, being manly, being famous, football, traditional customs, I really could go on and on for days.

Can you tell I hate being Moroccan?

I have never been in a concert in my life, and I actually want to now because this seems fun (unless politics are involved)

I had to deal with this. It was not satisfying at all.

I don’t remember when Alto’s Odyssey became free to play on Android, but it’s honestly such an amazing game. Its prequel is pretty nice too, but I like this one better.

I used to be addicted to Super Starfish too. I’m even pretty close to completing it, but just never had my chance to do so because… reasons. I would love to see this game on the Nintendo DS.

I played the original Sonic trilogy. It was fine, I guess.

The Dadish series was super annoying and very infuriating despite looking like something a child could complete in one sitting.

Bean Dreams was absolutely phenomenal, though. I loved every second of it. Why on earth did they have to take it down from app stores???

I played Okay. It was okay.

Bart Bonte’s “color” series of games are also pretty fun to play through. You actually can finish all of them in one sitting if you’re brainy enough to do so. I did. “Black” was my favorite, since you get a glimpse of the Belgian flag at the end (Bart is Belgian after all).

I even played Goat Simulator on mobile (not the sequel, the original). For some reason I enjoyed that one the most despite how very obviously limited the mobile version is.

Conclusion: I like very niche categories of mobile games.

For whatever reason (mostly geography), I missed all my chances of experiencing beautiful celestial events. None of the major eclipses that happened (solar or lunar) were viewable where I am, the aurora didn’t even reach us, and despite being the closest neighbor south to both Spain and Portugal, I didn’t see that comet either. All I remember seeing was rainbows, and even those are really rare.

Can you tell I hate being in Morocco?

That’s cool too

I’m pretty sure all it has is a USB-C port for power. But I think they can implement dongle support for things such as USB flash drives and CD drives. AirPlay (and its Android equivalent) can also be implemented since the device does indeed have Bluetooth.
