Recipe is basically juice of fresh oranges, rice vinegar, soy sauce, frozen veggies, garlic powder, sesame seeds, cornstarch, ginger powder, chili paste, maple syrup. I just mixed and adjusted everything until I liked the taste....
I diced a packet of tofu, then put it on a baking sheet to go into the oven at 200C° for 20 minutes. Once it was done. I put it in the sauce on a pan on the stove and let it simmer for 3-5 mins before serving
I had to make myself cook something to avoid wasting some homegrown produce that was past its prime. I’m more squimish about food being ‘bad’ than I want to admit, so I’m proud I was able to make this delicious meal....
Honestly I just throw it in the oven with nothing and let it bake on its own. I don’t add oil or spices or cornstarch. But coating it with cornstarch will make it more crispier.
