So recently my moto G60 reached the end of life with respect to security updates. That was the reason I was using to prevent myself from switching to a custom rom(actual reason is laziness). This phone has rom support for pixel experience and lineage OS. So my questions are if pixel experience has any privacy advantages when...
Iโm not sure how private lineage os is. It might still do some stuff in the background. But yes, if you install gapps youโll lose privacy. DivestOS might be a good bet.
Hello, could someone recommended a keyboard for android that is a bit smart in predictive typing? I used to like swiftkeybefore it was bought by microsoft. Not that swiftkey itself was much better but I was not so privy conscious at that time....
I once saw the explanation that when someone is looking through your window at your house you also close the blinds or even call the police even though you have nothing to hide.
Im planning my new config and one of the primary issue is that Im unsure whether 7950x3d is worth the hassle. If I went with 7950x, I would surely want to fiddle with overclocking....
The cache matters a lot. Thatโs basically why the x3d chips are so great at gaming. With over clocking youโll always get a lower clock than the stock boost clock with these newer chips. Thatโs why PBO (precision boost overdrive) in combination with CO (curve optimiser) will give the most performance. Both chips can do this.
Some backstory: there were display cars like this to show all the possible colours on the golf (or polo?) at the time. People liked it so much they wanted to buy it and VW decided to sell them.
Can someone explain why weโre all about planting trees but no one seems to be cultivating algea? I think itโs faster than growing a tree and it seems way more effective.
Canโt we make pools just for growing algea? Like not have anything live in it except the algea and then enrich the water with excess pollution to keep them fed. I remember some project that had a tank of algea over a highway and honestly to me it sounded like the smartest shit ever. Fix the pollution right at the source.
I ordered a Raspberry Pi 5 so I have a Pi 3 thatโs about to be redundant. I havenโt used Pi-Hole so I was thinking itโd be good for that but Iโm curious if thereโs any downsides for users. Are sites blocked if you dont whitelist them? That sort of thing....
Hey folks, I just realized my pihole server, running on a Ras Pi 3 needs to be rebuilt from scratch. Iโve seen many mentions of AdGuard DNS here though. Whatโs your thinking on which is better now?...
Installed grapheneOS on my pixel (finally) the other day. Actually was loving stock, until it got corrupted due to a bug. Had to factory reset to boot up again. Anyway, used that opportunity to install GOS....
You could do the charging stuff with magisk modules (acc is the most known) if you are willing to root. What is your SOT? My battery seems to be quite bad having to charge twice a day.
Youtube let the other shoe drop in their end-stage enshittification this week. Last month, they required you to turn on Youtube History to view the feed of youtube videos recommendations. That seems reasonable, so I did it. But I delete my history every 1 week instead of every 3 months. So they donโt get much from my choices....

Does Pi-Hole disrupt anything important?
