👋 Hi Mark!
Enjoy the beautiful weather out there. It's cloudy, again, with more storms forecast today. We've had our fair share of severe weather.

We caught a movie last night that was just a fun movie. The Fall Guy. Old fashioned fun. An actual script, with Ryan Gosling doing most all of the stunts. The only CGI used was actually a part of a movie, within the movie. I'm disappointed that it had such a poor opening.
Anyway, have a terrific day & plz give the doggos pets from me!

This is the reason that I'm the Black Sheep of the family.

This is an actual family photo that accompanied an invite for the 'family reunion' this year. I was not present when the photo was taken.

My parents & grandparents were not this way.

This has only happened since Trump, although I've only ever fit with very few family members.

This is what has happened.

I've known for years that they were 'Rednecks' but honestly unaware of what degree they've reached. I haven't attended a reunion for 30+ years. Always too liberal and free with my own speech.
Even so, I was absolutely shocked.

@CoachMark 🫂 I am very different from most all of my relatives.
My uncle remains solid. He always has been, very much like my dad.
But Dad always claimed to be an outcast too. I guess maybe family secrets stayed that way until politics of the last several years.
I had no idea it was this bad.

The two medical specialists appointments I had this week went well.
Well, in that there was clear open communication and understanding between us, and clarification of incorrect info that has been in my file and impeded care for years.

Oh, I'm still a rare mess of medical complications, but I improved my knowledge and left with plans for the months ahead.

In an act of optimism and hope, we even scheduled followup appointments for next year.
